What "Know Your Customer" means
Know Your Customer (KYC) is the standard process by which a financial service confirms that a client is a real, identifiable person, and that the information provided at registration is accurate.
At Noble Fundaven, the KYC process involves gathering and validating essential information about you: your complete legal name, birth date, residence country, communication details and the payment source you plan to utilize. We cross-reference the information entered during registration against the documentation you provide.
What we do not do
We do not ask for your online banking password, your full card PIN, or remote access to your device. No member of our team will ever request those. Any message that does is not from us and should be reported through the abuse form.
Which documents are accepted
We ask for up to three categories of document. Files should be colour images or PDFs, fully in frame, unedited, with all four corners and all text legible.
1. Identity document
An official identification document displaying your image, complete name, birth date, identification number and validity period. Standard accepted documents include a passport, a state-issued identity card, or a state-issued photographic driving credential. Documentation must be current and valid.
2. Proof of address
A current document, typically from recent months, displaying your name and residential location as registered with your account. Common examples include utility bills, financial institution or payment card statements, regional tax or civic correspondence, or written communication from a state agency. Personal mail boxes and non-personal residential addresses are rejected.
3. Proof of payment method
Evidence that the funding instrument belongs to you. For a card, that is normally an image of the card showing your name, the first six and last four digits and the expiry date, with the remaining digits and the security code covered. For a transfer from a bank account, that is a statement or confirmation in your name showing the account identifier. For an electronic wallet, a screenshot of the account profile showing your name and the account identifier.
Formats and file size
Upload limits, accepted file types and any additional document requests are shown in the verification area of your account. Documents in a language other than the account language may require a translation; the compliance team will tell you if that applies.
How long a check takes
Most complete submissions are reviewed within a few hours to a couple of business days. Files that need a second look, a translation or an additional document can take longer.
Review times depend on volume, on the quality of the uploads and on whether any additional screening is triggered. The processing window that applies to your account, together with the current status of each document, is shown in your account area - that published figure is the one to rely on, not any figure quoted elsewhere.
- Clear, complete, unedited uploads are reviewed fastest.
- Submissions made outside regular business hours will be processed during the subsequent business day.
- Enhanced review, where required, adds time and is communicated to you.
Ongoing transaction monitoring
Verification is not a one-time event. Accounts and transactions are monitored for as long as the relationship lasts.
What is monitored
Funding and withdrawal patterns, changes of payment instrument, changes of country or contact details, activity that does not match the profile you gave at sign-up, and any activity flagged by our screening tools.
What can happen as a result
- A demand for updated documents or clarification regarding the origin of transferred funds.
- A temporary hold on a specific transaction while it is reviewed.
- Modification of transaction or balance thresholds displayed in your account.
- Restriction or closure of the account where the law requires it.
Records
Identification data and transaction records are retained for the period required by applicable law after the relationship ends, and are handled in line with our Privacy Policy. In specific legal contexts, disclosure of filed reports to clients may be prohibited.
The verification steps
- 01
Register
Register using your genuine legal name, birth date, country of residence, email address and phone number. Mismatches between provided data and submitted documentation represent the primary source of verification delays.
- 02
Confirm contact details
Confirm your email address and, where requested, your phone number. This proves the contact channels belong to you.
- 03
Upload your identity document
Provide the sections containing your image and identity information. Certain verifications include a brief identity confirmation or photograph step to validate the document's ownership.
- 04
Upload proof of address
Furnish a current qualifying document registered under your name at your address of record.
- 05
Confirm the payment method
Provide proof of the instrument you will use to fund and to receive withdrawals.
- 06
Screening and review
Our verification department examines your file, implements mandatory sanctions and risk evaluation procedures, and subsequently either grants approval or requests corrections.
- 07
Confirmation
You will be notified when your account's verification status is updated. Your account's verification status remains visible within the verification section of your profile.
Your obligations
- Give accurate, current and complete information, and keep it up to date.
- Only utilize your personal funds and your personal payment methods - never employ another person's resources.
- Keep one account only, and keep your credentials private.
- Respond to document requests within the timeframe stated in the request.
- Tell us promptly if you change country of residence, legal name or payment method.
- Report any suspected unauthorised access to your account immediately.
Submitting falsified or altered documents is a serious matter. It leads to closure of the account and, where applicable law requires, notification of the competent authority.
What "anti-money laundering" means
Anti-money laundering (AML) comprises the procedural safeguards a financial institution implements to ensure its services cannot facilitate criminal proceeds, unlawful transactions, or money source concealment.
AML procedures extend beyond simple identity verification. They encompass account risk assessment, sanctions and PEP screening, controls on unusual deposit activity, documentation retention, internal reporting of questionable conduct and, when legally required, notification to regulatory authorities.
Where AML rules and a client instruction conflict, the AML rules take priority. That can mean a delayed transaction, a request for additional documents, or a restricted account until the matter is resolved.
Why verification is required
- 01
Legal obligation
Services that hold or transmit client funds are generally required to identify their clients before providing the service. This is not optional and applies to every account without exception.
- 02
Protecting your money
Verification ties an account to one identifiable owner. It makes account takeover far harder, and it means withdrawals can only be sent back to a payment method proven to belong to you.
- 03
Keeping the platform clean
Screening keeps sanctioned parties and anonymous shell activity off the platform, which protects every other client using it.
- 04
Faster payouts later
Accounts that have completed front-end verification skip additional checks during redemptions, avoiding inconvenient processing delays.
Why a check can be rejected
A denial typically indicates a documentation issue rather than a personal assessment. In the majority of scenarios, resubmission results in approval on the subsequent review.
| Reason | How to fix it |
|---|---|
| Image blurred, cropped or glare-covered | Re-shoot in daylight, flat on a dark surface, all four corners visible. |
| Document expired | Upload a currently valid document. |
| Account holder details do not align with provided identity documents | Update your account information or substantiate a legal name modification with appropriate documentation. |
| Proof of address too old or not in your name | Supply a current qualifying document bearing your name and registered residential address. |
| Payment method belongs to a third party | Only direct personal payment sources are permitted - payments from third parties cannot be accepted. |
| File edited, cropped to hide data, or a screenshot of a screen | Furnish an unaltered document image or PDF in its original form. |
| Residence in an excluded jurisdiction | The account cannot be opened; see our licensing page for the general position. |
Should clarification be needed regarding any determination, reach out to our support team for details. We will furnish explanations where legally permissible.
Where to ask questions
If anything on this page is unclear, or you want to know the exact status of your own verification, ask us before uploading again.
Who reviews my documents?
An individual with compliance expertise reviews submissions. Data is kept on secure infrastructure with access granted only to personnel requiring it to perform the review.
Can I start before I am verified?
You can register and explore the account, but funding, trading and withdrawals depend on the verification status published in your account.
Do I have to verify again later?
Possibly. Documents expire, addresses change and periodic refresh is a normal part of AML compliance. We will contact you if a refresh is needed.
How do I contact the compliance team?
Use the contact route on our contact page and mention "KYC" or "verification" in your message, together with the email address on your account. Please do not send document images by unsecured channels - upload them in the account area instead.
Get verified once, cleanly
Three issues account for ninety per cent of processing delays: photographs lacking clarity, address documentation that has expired, and a payment instrument registered under a different person's name. Addressing these matters typically results in checks being approved upon initial submission.
Need help with a document?
Our support team can tell you exactly which file was rejected and why.
- Check the verification area of your account first.
- Then contact support with your registered email address.
